Yahoo at DMEXCO

The Yahoo Lounge leveraged the brand's bold and colorful visuals, to catch the attention of the over 40 thousand visitors of DMEXCO 2022, and a cozy interior design, to create a friendly and flexible meeting space, reaching a record high number of sales meetings in the 2 days of the conference.

Despite facing tight deadlines and limited budget, my team and I extended our design duties to function as event planning support. We collaborated closely with the German Marketing team, the EMEA Marketing Director, and the Koelnmesse conference team to provide a comprehensive 360-degree service. From user flow strategies to interior design, from hands-on setup of the lounge area to reception desk assistance, from brand and production quality checks to maximizing communication and branding opportunities across the conference, we ensured the Yahoo brand would leave a positive mark on the event visitors and the lounge attendees. This project proved once more the huge added value of having a creative team member on-site, working in synergy with the Marketing client and finding ad hoc solutions on the go at every step.
